BHOPAL, Feb. 9 -- Under the Naxal eradication campaign in Madhya Pradesh, continuous action is being taken against Naxalites. In this sequence, Hawkforce of Madhya Pradesh Police has got success.
During the anti-Naxal operation, on February 8, a joint team of Cobra 207 and Hawkforce, which was searching in Chakarwaha forest area under Garhi police station area of Balaghat district, had an encounter with Naxalites.
Due to retaliatory action by Cobra 207 and Hawkforce, the Naxalites fled into the dense forest. No Cobra 207 or Hawkforce personnel were injured in this encounter. Cooker bombs made with the aim of causing harm to the police force were seized from the Naxalites.
