KOCHI, March 10 -- Even as the demand by veteran BJP leaders call for expelling the Eezhava community's political outfit BJDS is getting louder by the day, the latter announced the names of its two candidates for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls from Kerala.

The BJDS has been allocated four constituencies by the BJP. Tushar Vellappalli, the president of the party announced the names of the two Eezhava leaders who are being fielded by the BJDS. He said the names of the remaining two would be announced in a day or two.

The BJDS which had contested four seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha election had polled 3.8 lakh votes (1.8 per cent) of the total votes cast in the State. But veteran BJP leaders questioned the inclusion of the BJDS in the National Dem...
