New Delhi, May 4 -- Delhi Metro, which has become the lifeline of the city, celebrated its 30th Foundation Day on Friday in the national Capital at Bharat Mandapam while the awards for various categories including the Metro Woman and Man of the Year, Best Station and Best Depot awards were given.
Senior Station Manager Priti Kumari was given the Metro Woman of the Year award and Head Traffic Controller Md. Abdussueb Ahamad was awarded with the Metro Man of the Year title. Botanical Garden Metro Station bagged the Best Metro Station award while Shastri Park Depot got the Best Metro Depot.
