Ranchi, March 3 -- Bharatiya Janata Party today released its first list for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Names of 195 candidates were announced in the first list, including 11 candidates from Jharkhand. Out of the 11 candidates only three names are new for BJP, rest eight candidates have been repeated on their seats.
The new names include Tala Marandi from Rajmahal, Manish Jaiswal from Hazaribag and Geeta Koda from Singhbhum. Sunil Soren has been given ticket to contest from Dumka, Nishikant Dubey from Godda, Union Minister Annapurna Devi from Koderma, Sanjay Seth from Ranchi, Vidyut Varan Mahato from Jamshedpur, Union Minister Arjun Munda from Khunti, Sameer Oraon from Lohardaga and BD Ram from Palamu.
