BHOPAL, Feb. 9 -- Another phase of cold has hit Madhya Pradesh as on Wednesday night, the minimum mercury dropped to 10 degrees or below in more than 15 cities of the state. Datia had the coldest night with 6.8 degrees.

A drop of 2 to 3 degrees has been recorded in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain.

In 11 cities of the state including Gwalior-Jabalpur, the day temperature remained below 25 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. After the passing of the Western Disturbance, the direction of the winds in the state has become northern. Due to this, there is a drop in day temperature.
