BHOPAL, May 4 -- Eye transplantation of 2,106 visually impaired persons have been performed from the year 1996 to April 2024 in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. Eye transplantation have been done by cornea specialists Dr. Prerna Upadhyay and Dr. Shubha Rai. After losing eyesight the person falls into the category of complete disability. Such a disabled person has to depend on others for almost all his/her day to day works and activities. Apart from Bhopal, Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital also receives eyes from places like Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Kerala, Rajasthan, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chhindwara and Sehore etc.
