Bhubaneswar, Feb. 21 -- Infosys founder Narayana Murthy's wife Sudha Murthy was once attacked by a gold snatcher, but what happened next was more about the story of her remarkable courage.

In Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni's biography 'An Uncommon Love: The Early Life of Sudha and Narayana Murthy', an incident from Sudha's childhood sheds light on how she fought back a miscreant who tried to snatch her gold earrings.

As per the biographu, Sudha was once returning to home from school alone when the miscreant attempted to snatch her gold earrings. Instead of getting frightened of the snatcher, she bravely confronted him.

As per DNA report, Sudha only had an umbrella with her and she fought back with it forcing the miscreant to fled the scene...
