Bhubaneswar, April 29 -- At least two persons have died due to sunstroke so far in Odisha. As per the State Health Department, one sunstroke death has been reported from Dhenkanal district. Earlier, the first sunstroke death was reported in Balasore district.

Health department officials informed that as many as 257 persons were hospitalised due to sunstroke or heat-related illness in different parts of the state. The highest 60 health-related cases have been reported from the Sundargarh district, followed by 40 in Mayurbhanj and 36 cases from Khordha district. Of the total 36 cases reported from Khordha district, 18 persons are undergoing treatment at Capital hospital in Bhubaneswar.Also Read |Odisha confirms 1 sunstroke death from Balas...
