Bhubaneswar, Feb. 7 -- The Odisha government has received memorandums for the creation of 28 new districts. This was informed by the State Revenue Minister Sudam Marndi in the Odisha Assembly on Wednesday.

The Minister was answering a question posed by Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja. The state government has received demands for the creation of 4 new districts each after bifurcating Balasore and Bolangir, 3 proposed districts by bifurcating Cuttack and Angul districts.
