Odisha Heatwave: Bhubaneswar boils at 34.8degC by 8:30 am; Talcher hits record 38.4degC
Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- A day after three places from Odisha were among the ten hottest places in the world, the mercury touched 38.4 degreeCelsiusby 8:30 am on Wednesday indicating continuity of intense heatwave conditions in different parts of the state.
As per IMD data, 16 places in Odisha recorded a maximum temperature of 34 degrees and above by 8:30 am today.
While Talcher recorded the highest temperature of 38.4 degrees, Bhawanipatna recorded 37.4, Baripada 36.4, Bolangir 36.2 and Titilagarh recorded 36 degrees C by 8:30 am.
