Bhubaneswar, April 19 -- The Odisha government on Friday confirmed that one person has so far died of sunstroke this season so far. Public Health Director Niranjan Mishra informed that the sole sunstroke casualty has been reported from the Balasore district.

A total of 71 cases of heat-related illness have been reported from different parts of Odisha owing to heat wave to severe heat wave conditions that are currently prevailing in the state.
