IMD issues Red Warning for severe heat wave conditions in 9 Odisha districts
Bhubaneswar, April 30 -- Odisha continues to boil under the prevailing severe heat wave conditions. Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, has issued Red Warning for severe heat wave conditions in nine districts of the State. These districts are- Khordha, Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul and Cuttack.
Meanwhile, IMD has issued Orange Warning for heat wave conditions to districts like Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri. Yellow Warning has been issued to three districts - Koraput, Bargarh and Puri.
