Bhubaneswar, April 19 -- A cyclonic circulation lies over central Assam and a trough runs from northwest Bihar to this cyclonic circulation in lower tropospheric levels, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday.

As per IMD, widespread light to moderate rainfall/snowfall accompanied by isolated thunderstorm and lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh and scattered to fairly widespread rainfall over Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during April 19 to April 24, 2024.
