The new route from Hanoi is being announced shortly after the flights from Vietnam's capital city to Melbourne, which will start a few days earlier, on June 3. "With a flight time of around 10 hours per leg, the direct air links will cut travel times significantly versus connecting itineraries, while offering more affordable travel options", says Vietjet. The airline currently offers flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
