Hong Kong, Feb. 19 -- Taiwan's China Airlines (CAL) carried 938,391 passengers in January, a robust increase from the 590,698 passengers it flew a year ago. The SkyTeam alliance member said the airline generated T$9.2 billion (US$294 million) in passenger revenue in January, a 19.2% improvement from T$7.7 billion in the same month in 2023. But cargo revenue declined 23.5%, to T$4 billion.
