Agartala, May 8 -- Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha is set to actively participate in campaigning on Thursday (May 09) for BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal, as confirmed by party sources on Wednesday.

Sources from the Pradesh BJP said that approximately 20 prominent BJP leaders from Tripura, including the state's BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee, are currently deeply involved in electoral activities in West Bengal.

Chief Minister Manik Saha's itinerary includes departing for Kolkata on May 9th, where he will address a BJP election rally in North Kolkata on the subsequent day, lending his support to party candidate Tapas Roy. His return to Tripura is anticipated either on May 10th or 11th.
