Agartala, May 9 -- Efforts are underway to alleviate the fuel crisis in Tripura, as announced by Food and Civil Supply Minister and Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.

Following a recent derailment incident in Assam, which severely affected goods train movement into Tripura, the state government is actively collaborating with Indian Oil and the Ministry of Railways to address the situation.

Minister Chowdhury emphasized the impact of the railway track destruction in the Jatingra area of Assam on fuel supply, causing confusion among citizens.

He assured that he and officials from the food department are in constant communication with Indian Oil to swiftly resolve the crisis.
