New Delhi, April 24 -- In a big shock to several Indians, who swear by popular brands like Everest Food Products Pvt and MDH Pvt, Singapore and Hong Kong have put a ban on the sale on the spices marketed by these companies. It has been alleged that the spices manufactured by these companies contain carcinogenic pesticide ethylene oxide. It has been found that these carcinogenic products are present beyond permissible limits in MDH group's Madras Curry Powder, Sambhar Masala Powder, and Curry Powder and Everest Group's Fish Curry Masala.
