New Delhi, April 25 -- In a recent development, IndiGo, a leading domestic airline, has finalised an order for 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This strategic move, as disclosed in an exchange filing on April 24th, is set to significantly enhance the carrier's capacity for network expansion. The agreement marks a significant milestone for IndiGo, as it marks the airline's venture into the wide-body aircraft segment, reinforcing its position as India's largest carrier while strengthening its fleet. The latest development comes after India's top airline by market share placed a mega single order of 500 aircraft with Airbus in June 2023.
