The authorities have decided to close Tulip Garden in Srinagar for general public from Wednesday evening.

An official said that the garden, overlooking the famous Dal Lake, will be closed for public on Wednesday evening owing to shrinking bloom.

He said 4.25 lakh peoplevisited the gardenin a month period when it was open.

Last year, 3.60 lakh people had visited the garden.(KNS)
