SRINAGAR, May 5 -- Ahead of the review to be taken by the Union Home Secretary regarding the land subsidence in village Pernote of Ramban district, Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, today took stock of measures taken up, so far, by the administration towards relief and rehabilitation of the affected population.
The meeting was attended by ACS, Jal Shakti/FC Revenue, ACS, Forests, Principal Secretary, Home, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, ADGP, L&O; Secretary, Revenue, Secretary, DMRR&R, DC, Ramban, representatives from Geological Survey of India (GSI) besides other concerned officers.
