SRINAGAR, April 25 -- Conclude registration of service providers including Labourers, Ponywalas, Pithu Walas and Palkiwalas fifteen days prior to the formal commencement of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024 to ensure smooth conduct of annual pilgrimage, Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri directed Labour and Animal Husbandry Departments while chairing a review meeting.
The meeting was apprised that Labourers and Ponywalas rush to registration camps at the eleventh hour which hampers the smooth conduct of the yatra.
Bidhuri while reviewing the arrangements for SANJY-2024, said that the legacy data was made available to concerned departments to make the registration process smooth and convenient.
