Hyderabad, April 12 -- A man was killed by his own son following a minor brawl over a cell phone in the Mancherial district.
The victim, Rayamallu (62), a retired worker from Singareni, resided in Ramakrishnapur within the district, and his son was identified as Rakesh. An altercation arose between the father and son concerning the cell phone. Amidst the argument, Rakesh struck his father on the head, resulting in his demise.
Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene, registered a case, and initiated an investigation. Subsequently, the body was shifted to the government hospital for post-mortem examination.
