Hyderabad, April 18 -- The commencement of the nomination filing process has been initiated in the Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In Telangana, nominations are being filed for 17 Lok Sabha seats, while in Andhra Pradesh, the process includes nominations for 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats.
On the inaugural day, prominent leaders from various political parties assembled at the offices of the Assistant Returning Officers (ARO) in large gatherings and formally submitted their nomination papers. The Returning Officers accepted nominations from 11 am onwards in their respective offices.
