Hyderabad, April 20 -- Former minister and Congress leader Motkupalli Narsimhulu, who embarked on a fast-unto-death demanding justice for Madigas within the party, has been admitted to a hospital after his health deteriorated. His blood pressure and sugar levels plummeted, prompting his family to admit him to the hospital.

Motkupalli is currently undergoing treatment at the Wellness Hospital in Begumpet. He initiated the hunger strike alleging that the Madiga community leaders were unfairly treated within the Congress party. Concerns about his health are mounting among family members.
