Hyderabad, April 16 -- Hyderabad District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner Ronald Ross warned that an FIR would be registered against staff who did not appear on election duty. He expressed his displeasure and said that 23,000 employees were selected to train to participate in the election process, of which 3,700 employees were absent.
Ronald Ross warned that except for those who were sick or pregnant, an FIR would be filed against all others. He said that apart from Hyderabad and Secunderabad parliamentary constituencies, arrangements for the by-elections of Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly Constituency are going on. Paper nominations will be accepted from April 18 to April 25, and they will be accepted daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ...
