Hyderabad, March 25 -- In a heart-wrenching incident, four young individuals lost their lives by drowning while washing clothes in the river following their Holi celebrations.
The unfortunate event occurred in the Wardha River of Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district. The victims have been identified as Santosh (25), Parveen (23), Kamlakar (22), and Sai (22), all residents of Nadeemabad village.
According to police reports, after partaking in Holi festivities, the youths were engaged in washing clothes by the riverbank when tragedy struck suddenly. Efforts are underway to retrieve their bodies from the water.
