Hyderabad, March 18 -- Several BRS MLAs lodged a complaint with Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar urging the disqualification of Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender.
BRS MLAs Padi Kaushik Reddy, Kaleru Venkatesh, Mutha Gopal, Bandaru Lakshma Reddy, and other leaders lodged the complaint on Monday.
Speaking to media persons, BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy emphasized the urgency for the Speaker to initiate action against Danam Nagender, who originally secured victory under the BRS banner but subsequently defected to the Congress party. It is reported that the Speaker has assured prompt action in response to the plea.
