Hyderabad, April 17 -- Former BRS MLA Aamir Shakeel has called for a judicial inquiry into the Jubilee Hills road accident involving his son, Raheel.
In a video message, Shakeel urged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to enlist the assistance of a sitting judge to conduct a transparent investigation into the incident. He alleged that an unjust case had been filed against his son, causing distress not only to Raheel but to their entire family.
Shakeel further accused DCP Vijay Kumar of harassing him, possibly due to political motives or other undisclosed reasons. He claimed that the police were pressuring Raheel to admit guilt, threatening him with dire consequences if he refused.
