GUWAHATI, India, April 24 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on March 27:
Heard the learned counsel Mr. H.K. Das appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B. Sarma, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor representing the State of Assam/Respondent No.1.
Issue Notice, returnable in 4(four) weeks.
No formal steps are required to be taken as because Mr. Sarma has accepted notice on behalf of the Respondent No.1. However, extra copy of the petition be furnished to him.
Now, the petitioner shall take steps for service of notice upon the Respondent No.2 by registered post with A/D.
List after 4(four) weeks.
Heard the learned counsel of both sides in the matter of prayer for interim protection.
