GUWAHATI, India, May 6 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on April 6:
Heard Mr. S.K. Talukdar, learned counsel for the applicant.
By this application, the applicant is praying for impleadment of Smt. Prayashi Gautam, Executive Officer, Biswanath Chariali Municipal Board, Biswanath Chariali, District- Biswanath Chariali, Assam as party-respondent No. 2 in Contempt Case No. 339/2023 on the ground that the respondent No. 1 in the said contempt case has been transferred and the proposed incumbent has taken over the charge of the Executive Officer, Biswanath Chariali Municipal Board.
This Court has considered the cause shown in the present application and is satisfied.
Accordingly, the prayer for impleadment is allowed.
