India, April 19 -- DPS Indirapuram commemorated World Heritage Day with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of preserving the heritage around us. The assembly served as an opportunity to reflect on our diverse cultural heritage and promote efforts to safeguard it for future generations. Dr. R.S. Bisht, a Padma Shri Awardee and former Joint Director-General of the Archaeological Survey of India, graced the assembly. As an eminent archaeologist, he is an expert on the Indus Valley Civilization and has led many excavations to study the civilization.
