Manipur, April 23 -- A man died following a physical fight with his son at Khaidem Awang Leikai under the jurisdiction of Patsoi Police Station, Imphal West district in Manipur on Sunday at around 11 am.

The deceased is identified as Naorem Joychandra, 51 son of (L) N. Manao of Khaidem Awang Leikai and his son is 31 years old NTarunjit.

As per family members, the father and the son duo often fought when they got drunk and they were drunk fighting on the day of the incident also.

N Joychandra was rushed to RIMS hospital and was undergoing treatment but he succumbed to his injuries on Monday at around 3 am. The body is being kept at RIMS mortuary for a postmortem.

Patsoi Police Station has taken a case on the incident.
