Manipur, April 19 -- As Manipur went to poll on Friday in the first phase of the 18th Lok Sabha Elections, 2024, the two Kuki-dominated districts, viz. Churachandpur and Kangpokpi saw two contradictory faces.

As per sources, many polling stations in Kangpokpi district wore deserted lookas no voters turned out to vote till 1 pm. According to the Voter Turnout app of the Election Commission of India, Kpi district saw a turnout of 21.87 per cent, which sources say were Nepali and other Naga voters of the district.
