Manipur, Feb. 20 -- Namrei 33-KV sub station in the north of Ukhrul district, Manipur has finally restored power to villages after a black out of five consecutive days.

The black out had impacted the populace particularly students and individuals who depend on electricity for sustenance.

In the life of the remote villagers, electricity is an indispensable necessity as they could ill-afford other power backup given their low income status.

Following a report by the Imphal Free Press on the frequent power cuts in the said sub-station, the power company concerned took note of the genuine issue facing the area and restored the power back to the villagers.
