United Nations, Feb. 18 -- Representatives of the Yemeni government and the Houthi rebels made significant progress in the talks, agreeing on the first phase of troop withdrawal from the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah.

During the fourth joint meeting at the UN-facilitated talks in Hodeidah on February 16 and 17, Yemen's warring parties have agreed on the first phase of troop withdrawal, the press office of the UN Secretary-General said in a statement on Sunday.
