Fadnavis announces Rs 50 lakh to the families of CRPF jawans

Pune, Feb. 16 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis has announced financial aid of Rs 50 lakh to the families of two CRPF Jawans who were killed in the attack in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

We salute these two brave soldiers and rest of the Jawan who laid own their lives in service of the motherland, Fadnavis tweeted here on Saturday.



The two CRPF jawans Sanjay Rajput (45) an Nitin Shivaji Rathod (37), native of Malkapur and lonar talukas in Buldhana district were among the 40 CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the brazen suicide attack at Pulwama in Kashmir on Thursday.

The last rites of both CRPF martyrs is scheduled in Buldhana.
