Amritsar, Feb. 18 -- Hitting out at the ruling Congress in Punjab for bringing a 'directionless' budget, senior BJP leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina on Monday said that every sector has been ignored in the budget and the agriculture, which is witnessing the worst ever distress as peasants are committing suicides, has been entirely ignored. In a statement here, Mr Chhina said the cut in VAT for petrol and diesel, which will bring down the prices, is a decision taken very late. "We had been demanding the cut in the VAT prices for long.
