Dhaka, Feb. 19 -- Due to a hamstring injury, Mohammad Mithun, the right-handed middle-order batsman of Bangladesh, has been ruled out of third One-day International against New Zealand which is scheduled to be played Wednesday at 4am (Bangladesh time).

In the first two matches of the three-match series, Mithun struck the back-to-back fifties which helped the Tigers to pass 200-runs mark. However, Bangladesh have capitulated to the Kiwi in both of the first two matches by a big margin of eight wickets.

"Mithun had suffered a hamstring injury in the second match of the series and a scan suggested he will not be available in the next match," Khaled Mashud, the manager of Bangladesh team, told the media.
