Mineola, Jan. 16 -- Ina first, the oath ceremony for India Association of Long Island (IALI) executive officers and other officials for 2019 was held at the Nassau County Legislative Building here on January 11.
Among the over 200 guests present to witness the ceremony were Jack Schnirman, Nassau County Comptroller, Richard Nicolello, Presiding Officer of the County Legislature, and Past Presidents of IALI.
The welcome speech was made by Zahid Syed, Commissioner of Human Rights Nassau County. In his speech, incoming President Lalit Aery highlighted some of the plans his team will be working on to serve the community and helping in the progress of IALI.
