ISLAMABAD, Jan. 15 -- The Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) has cleared Bollywood film "The Accidental Prime Minister' for screening in Pakistan.

The film will be released in cinemas in Pakistan on January 18, 2019.

According to CBFC Chairman, Danyal Gilani, the Board has cleared the film for screening in Pakistan.

He added that the film has been approved for screening with minor excisions.

Indian media reported that producer of the film Jayantilal Gada has welcomed the CBFC decision to clear the film for screening.
