Indie and English music in India needs to be nurtured: AR Rahman
Dhaka, Jan. 19 -- Veteran music composer AR Rahman says independent and English music have always been the underdogs in India, and that they need to be helped and nurtured in the coming years. Rahman spoke at a press conference of Nexa Music, which saw artistes Uday Benegal, Clinton Cerejo, Anushka Manchanda and Nikhil D'souza in attendance, along with RS Kalsi, Senior Executive Director - Marketing and Sales - Maruti Suzuki India, recently.
