Bangladesh, Jan. 9 -- Bangladesh Association of Software & Information Services (BASIS) expressed optimism on developing the ICT sector as Mr. Mustafa Jabbar has taken oath as Posts, Telecommunications & ICT Minister.
"BASIS Family is honoured & privileged by the achievement of Mustafa Jabbar, the pioneer of the country's ICT sector," said a statement.
After taking the oath, the newly-appointed minister visited the office of BASIS. Former BASIS presidents, BASIS Executive Council (EC) Members, BASIS Standing Committee's Chairman, Co-Chariman and BASIS members welcomed the minister with crest & flower bouquets.
