Bangladesh, Feb. 19 -- Police have prepared a chargesheet accusing six people, including sacked Major Syed Mohammad Ziaul Haque, a suspected coordinator of the banned militant outfit Ansar-Al-Islam, and Shafiur Rahman Farabi, in a case filed over the murder of blogger Avijit Roy.

Monirul Islam, the chief of Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTT) unit, came up with the information at a press briefing at the media centre of Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Monday.

He said the chargesheet has been sent to the Home Ministry for its approval.

After the ministry's approval, the chargesheet will be sent to the court.
