Manila, Feb. 19 -- Senator Loren Legarda on Tuesday said the Department of Health's (DOH) program to provide quality and affordable health care for Filipinos, through the upgrading of health facilities, has a funding under the 2019 national budget.
Legarda, who chairs the Senate Committee on Finance, said the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP), which is aimed at improving health facilities nationwide, has PHP15 billion funding for this year.
The HFEP also generates income through investments in infrastructure and medical equipment.
