Manila, Feb. 19 -- The Department of Education (DepEd) will investigate and impose sanctions on students who posted photos of their Basic Education Exit Assessment (BEEA) answer sheets on their social media accounts.

In a statement on Tuesday, DepEd said it is the Bureau of Education Assessment that will conduct the probe, through the Schools Division Offices.

The DepEd's move came following several photos of test items and improperly shaded answer sheets were posted on social media by some BEEA takers on February 13 and 14.
