Manila, Feb. 17 -- The Department of Education (DepEd) has welcomed the bicameral report of the legislature on the proposed 2019 national budget and looks forward to its approval by President Rodrigo R. Duterte.
In a statement on Saturday, DepEd said one of the significant provisions which the agency pushed is the PHP800 million for teachers' allowance to be distributed on World Teachers' Day.
