Balasore, Jan. 12 -- The Sahadevkhunta police on Friday arrested three officials of North Eastern Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Limited (NESCO) on charges of stealing scraps worth lakhs of rupees from the storeyard of the company in Balasore district.
The arrested officers have been identified as the then Executive Engineer Chittaranajan Mistry and two store keepers, Rajendra Kumar Khilar and Satyabrata Das.
A complaint related to the alleged theft was lodged by the Executive Officer (Works) of Nesco, Anant Narayan Bisoi on December 14, 2018. Based on the investigation reports of the electric department of Vigilance, Sahadevkhunta police later arrested the trio.
