Sundergarh, Jan. 18 -- The Biramitrapur Police arrested three members of the Peoples' Liberation Front of India (PLFI) today and seized a pistol from them.

According to sources, the three members of the armed extremist group have been identified as Surjyanarayan Nanda, Tuleswar Nanda and Aphendu Nanda. The arrested persons were wanted in connection with the murder of a bus driver named Arjun Gopa, informed sources. The three PLFI members had murdered the bus driver at Kukudabahal under Kuarmunda Police limits on March 16, 2018.

Moreover, there are several other cases of extortion and murder pending against the 3 arrested PLFI members in Biramitrapur, Rajgangpur and Brahmani Tarang police stations of the district, added sources. The arrest...
