Berhampur, Jan. 11 -- As many as 20 goats were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Babanpur village near Aska in Ganjam district today spreading panic among the villagers.
According to sources, all the goats, belonging to one person of the village, were grazing in a nearby field when suddenly they fell sick and died.
With so many goats killed at once, panic spread among the villagers while an investigation has been initiated over the incident.
Sources said the local veterinary doctor reached the spot after getting information and carried out an inspection to find out the cause of death. "The exact reason of the deaths can only be ascertained after getting the post mortem reports," informed the Vet.
